Every wardrobe has that shelf.
You know the one. The outfits that were events in themselves — chosen over weeks, photographed from every angle, worn for one evening, dry-cleaned, zipped into a suitcase, and promoted to furniture. You can't re-wear them (the photos exist; we don't make the rules). You won't sell them, because selling feels final and the price offered is always insulting. So they sit, appreciating sentimental value and nothing else.
There's a third option between repeating and selling: keep it, and let it go out without you.
What it can earn.
You set the price per event, the deposit, and how many buffer days you want between rentals for dry-cleaning. A formal that rents for Rs 5,000 an event and goes out once a month has quietly paid for itself inside a year — and it's still yours, still in your wardrobe for the day you do want it. Wedding season does the marketing for you.
You stay in control. All of it.
Nothing is automatic. Every request comes to you with the renter's dates and profile — you approve or decline. Your calendar is yours: block dates when the outfit (or you) is busy. Deposits are agreed in advance and recorded. You photograph condition at handover and return, on the platform, so there is never an argument about that thread-pull. And renters get reviewed too — you can see how someone treated the last three outfits before you say yes.
Nobody needs to know it's you.
List as "The Gulberg Wardrobe" if you like. Alias wardrobes hide your name, photo and number everywhere public — in search, on your page, even in chat headers. We verify your identity; we just don't display it. Your location shows as an area, never an address. Your phone number is shared only if you tap the button that shares it.
Five minutes. Honestly.
Photos (your phone's camera roll already has professional-grade ones from the event, let's be real), size and measurements, price, deposit, done. It goes to a quick human review, then it's live and findable on Google by people in your city searching for exactly what's in your suitcase.
Questions owners ask
- What if it comes back damaged?
- The deposit you set covers agreed damage; if you can't agree, our dispute team reviews the before/after photos. We're honest about limits — we record deposits, we don't hold them.
- Do I have to meet strangers?
- Meet where you choose; many owners do handover at a café or workplace. ID-verified renters only, above a value threshold.
- Do I become a "seller"?
- No — a wardrobe isn't a shop. No business profile, no sales targets, list one outfit if you like.
- Who pays for dry-cleaning?
- You set the care terms on the listing.
